Adult Summer Reading

Ages 18+

How to win

• Participants earn a drawing entry for each book read.
  • When you finish a book, fill out a slip at the library and drop it in the jar, or keep track online by signing up in Reader Zone (see the instructions below).
  • Each month, there will be one winner drawn from that month’s Summer Reading entries.
  • At the end of the summer, we will draw two final winners from all the Summer Reading entries!
• Read 3 books on our Summer Reading Bookmark and be entered into an end-of-summer drawing.
  • Choose a book from 3 of the following categories:
    • A book from any display in the adult or teen areas of the library.
    • A Farming/Gardening book (e.g. gardening mystery, farming memoir, gardening manual).
    • An audiobook (CDs, Playaways, or e-audio) or e-book.
    • A book with a green or brown cover.
    • A book celebrating America’s 250th (e.g. fiction set in Revolutionary times, a biography about a historic figure, a book about the war).
  • Fill out a bookmark at the library with the books you read, your name, and contact info, and drop it in the jar.

Reader Zone instructions: Register on Reader Zone and choose the Adult Summer Reading Challenge, or enter Program Code: 662f9 in the Reader Zone app. Log each book you have finished reading. Each book logged will earn you an entry into the final drawing. You can access Reader Zone via a browser or download the app. View their Get Started flyer.

Prizes

SIX Winners will get a tote bag of goodies, including a $20 gift card to a local business of their choice!
